So I think I mentioned that I'm doing #365yoga this year. It's kinda awesmoe and inspired by The Flying Yogini's project last year and this upcoming year.
So, I started with a Sunday, New Year's Day Yoga class at The You Can Do It Yoga Center.
Followed by a Tuesday class there.
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday I practiced at home- mostly using stuff from Anna Guest-Jelley's Curvy Yoga. It's the first time in years and years that I've practiced yoga not in a class, and not to lose weight. It was actually kinda an awesome week. Between forcing myself to find the time for a physical daily yoga practice and also having a mental exercise to do daily from A Year of Living Your Yoga, it's been a pretty enjoyable experience.
I'm hoping I can keep this momentum up in the next week- when I've actually got to be in the office most of the week. I know I can make my in-studio class tomorrow, but I've got a meetings on Tuesday and Thursday when the other gentle classes are offered.
But even if I can only make the Sunday morning class, I'll practice at home and see where I wind up!
